Georgiana Bagley

Georgiana Bagley is a Licensed Professional Counselor, facilitator and consultant who provides services in a wide array of settings. She has over twenty years in the social service arena and is past clinical director of both The Dulaney House and The Georgia Center for Children where she supervised traumatized youth.  In 1998 she founded Bagley Youth Development, LLC which was instituted to address and support the unmet needs of at-risk youth and their families. This was followed later with Bagley Center For Change, Inc. (a 501 C3 non profit) She continues to provide  therapeutic services that many families benefit from. Her specialty areas are:

Domestic Violence
Physical and Sexual Abuse
Parenting Skills
Substance Abuse


There are a variety of groups for children and adolescents such as life skills, gang prevention, conflict resolution/anger management, girl’s social group that are also offered. Many of the services are provided in the home however services are provided also both in the schools and in the office. Individual, group and family therapy are her focus. In 2009 she took on a role as a Military Family Life Consultant in which she has provided support services both in the US and in Europe to military children and their families

She is a passionate therapist who loves working with people in general.  She was nominated and selected twice as Outstanding Young Woman in America and also nominated and recognized for the Emory University-Rollins School of Public Health Community Service Award. In August 2008 she received the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letter degree from Agape Bible College for her tireless efforts in the community.

She is married to Bernard Bagley (her soulmate) who is co-owner of Bagley Youth Development and between them they have seven children and fourteen grandchildren. They have done many cases together working with blended families and couples and are doing their first Blended Family Workshop titled….

From His and Hers To Ours in June 2019 in Naples Italy.  She is also the author of No Time Is Ever The Right Time which should be released May 2019.

Bernard Bagley

Bernard Bagley is a graduate of Morehouse College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Social Work degree from the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University.  Mr. Bagley is licensed as a Master Social Worker by the Composite Board of the State of Georgia.  He also received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Agape Bible College, in North Carolina.

 

His career path includes working as a Care Manager for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and then Director of Advocacy and Consumer Services at the Mental Health Association of Metropolitan Atlanta (MHAMA). During his time at the MHAMA, he worked with the Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless--to facilitate the implementation of 24-hour Assertive Community Treatment in the metro-Atlanta area for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who were at risk for homelessness. He served as the first Program Coordinator of the Stepping Ahead! Program (a multi-agency homeless prevention initiative) with Traveler’s Aid of Metropolitan Atlanta and, then, served as Director of Emergency Assistance at Buckhead Christian Ministry.  He is also a past President of the, now defunct, Georgia Conference on Social Welfare.

                                                                                                           

Mr. Bagley and his wife started Bagley Youth Development, LLC to serve young people and their families, individuals having difficulty with conflicts, substance abuse, domestic violence and those at risk for homelessness.  He is the Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Bagley is Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bagley facilitates groups with youthful offenders around topics of substance abuse, career planning and life skills as well as performing administrative duties. 

 

In the past he has also worked as a Behavior Specialist in mental health residential treatment centers—Laurel Heights and Hillside Hospitals--for children and adolescents.  He continues to work as a change agent on other projects and through Bagley Youth Development has numerous collaborations in place to provide both the psychiatric, psychological, and social services needed for consumers served by Bagley Youth Development

Charles Safford

Charles Safford, LCSW is the President and owner of yourceus.com, Inc., a company that develops and markets web-based and live continuing education training for mental health clinicians. Mr. Safford has been providing counseling services since he received his graduate degree from Boston University in 1981.

 

In private practice since 1985, he has been helping individuals, families and couples to create better and happier lives for over thirty years. Since moving to Atlanta in 1988, he has also been involved in developing and delivering innovative training programs and consulting services to enrich the personal and work life of the employees and managers of numerous corporate and governmental organizations.

 

In 2001, he merged his training and therapy skills to create yourceus.com, Inc., a company that teaches and trains mental health clinicians on a nationwide basis, offering both live and web based programs encompassing the best and most recent knowledge and skills in the field of mental health.

Dr. Lafils M Rivers

Dr. Lafils McGill-Rivers, LCSW a servant of God, is devoted to building up the Kingdom of God.  She lives a lifestyle of praying, fasting, reading and writing God’s Word.  She has learned to deny herself, pick up her cross and follow Jesus.  God healed her body and allowed her to live and declare His Word.  God raised her up, and allowed her to walk in newness of life.  “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” Psalms 37:23.

God gave Lafils a vision to speak a word of encouragement into the lives of His people.  She enjoys strengthening families to walk in the manifestation of God’s glory. Her loving husband Ronnie Rivers and her adult children and grandchildren all support her. 

Lafils is a Veteran of the United States Army.  She is the Overseer of “From Victim to Victory and Pastor of New Bethesda Bibleway Family Worship Center in Castelvolturno, Italy.” Lafils served as a missionary in Africa 2003-2004 and Haiti 2005-2006. She is the Chaplin for Revolutionary Disciples Media Board of Directors from 2009 to the present. She has written 30 books to include 4 teaching manuals and she travels throughout the states and overseas conducting workshops, seminars and lectures so others can walk in victory!
